Biography: Nasrullah Aziz was born in the historical city Gujrat, Pakistan, a town known for the massive fort by the Mughal Emperor Akbar, in 1596. He completed his masters in Applied Mathematics from Punjab University, the oldest public university in Pakistan, established in October 1882. Later he was selected as one of the seven best students nationwide for M. Phil from Quad I Azam University; Known as one of the best universities in Pakistan. After completing his two-year research degree, he joined a state college as a lecturer. Later he decided to travel to the USA for higher education and graduated from The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Since then, he has been teaching at ASMS. His teaching philosophy is very simple, “The only way to learn and understand mathematics is to do mathematics.” He is a proud father of three kids, one of them is an alum and the second one is a senior at ASMS.
