Biography: Kevin Dolbeare is from central Illinois and attended University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. He met his wife, Kristine, in Urbana and they attend University of Minnesota together after getting married. Upon moving to Mobile, Kevin performed research at the University of South Alabama in the Molecular Biology Department. He started teaching part-time at ASMS while being a full-time researcher and eventually was hired full time at ASMS in both the chemistry and biology departments. Kevin now focuses on teaching chemistry and helping students reach their full potential. His current research interests are in environmental chemistry including atmospheric and marine locals and the biochemistry of the organisms across the Gulf Coast.
