Bio: Dr. Jennifer Tellman grew up in Fairhope, Alabama, inspired by the richness of the Gulf Coast’s history leading her to study British and European exploration and expansion around the globe. At ASMS, Dr. Tellman explores World history with her students with a concentration on the marketable skills and knowledge historical studies nurtures in those who study it. Passion-driven learning and curiosity shape her pedagogical approach. Dr. Tellman’s academic research explores food and food history in early modern British travel narratives. She has two beloved puppies, Delilah and Pavlov.
