Biography: Dr. Elizabeth Jones grew up in Mobile, Alabama and worked in academic libraries and as a technical writer before discovering a love of teaching. In the classroom, she focuses on the magical qualities of language as a source of power -- personally, academically, and professionally. Dr. Jones's academic research includes postcolonial literature, specifically Irish drama, and masculinity studies. She is married and has two sons.
