Biography: A lifelong learner, Deb Gray has found her calling in computer science education at ASMS. After growing up in the Chicago area, Ms. Gray headed on a college scholarship to LA, majoring in electrical engineering. Her next move was to the SF Bay area working in high tech -- the instrumentation and computer science fields. From there she traveled throughout the Pacific and Indian Oceans becoming more involved in teaching and education: homeschooling her daughter, teaching co-op classes, and working at international schools. At ASMS, she thrives on helping students gain confidence in applying computer science to solve problems and glean new insights across all disciplines and application areas. A firm believer in student-centered and project-based learning, she encourages participation in after-school cybersecurity clubs and computer science competitions.
