Sandy Herren is originally from Cullman, Alabama. She completed her undergraduate work at Birmingham-Southern College and continued on to Vanderbilt University Divinity School. She then returned to the Birmingham area where she lived for 13 years before moving to Mobile. In her free time she enjoys cooking, reading, crocheting, and traveling.
